    A Somali Man, who Used to Look After Snakes, Dies for Snake Bite

    MOGADISHU (Horn Observer) Xarawa Qabax Hashi had an unusual dream which is to tame dangerous and poisonous snakes in his home in central Somalia and early this week, he paid for it with his life.

MOGADISHU (Horn Observer) Xarawa Qabax Hashi had an unusual dream which is to tame dangerous and poisonous snakes in his home in central Somalia and early this week, he paid for it with his life.

Residents and Witnesses said that Xarawa Qabax Hashi died after one of the snakes he was taking care of, bit him in his home at Bandiiradley village, in central Somalia. He was flown to Mogadishu for treatment, where he was pronounced died.

Xarawa Qabax was among very few people who believe that "they withstand with snake bite and that their poison do not kill them."




Among the snakes Hashi had his home were serpent, a very poisonous and killer snakes and images of Xarawa holding the snakes around his neck and head were circulated to the social media.

In a separate incident, Mogadishu residents were circulating fake news which was making profitable business from tortoise. Some folks say that between 35,000 - 40000 USD were being sold. However, none has witnessed any such kind of business exists. The act however endangers the lives of hundreds of tortoises.
