    Somalia President Cuts ribbon of Renovated Garowe Airport in Puntland

    GAROWE (Horn Observer) Somalia President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo who has been on official visit to the federal state of Puntland has on Monday cut the ribbon the newly completed Garowe Airport, officials said.

GAROWE (Horn Observer) Somalia President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo who has been on official visit to the federal state of Puntland has on Monday cut the ribbon the newly completed Garowe Airport, officials said.

Highly organized ceremony held in Garowe, Puntland Presidenrt Abdiweli Mohamed ALi Gaas said that they had been trying to implement international airport of Gen. Mohamed Abshir Muse, which meets international standards.

"The federal government is required the completion of the airport and cover the training for the airport staff and the equipment” Abdiweli Gaas, Puntland president said.

Somalia President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo thanked Puntland government and its people for the democracy they have achieved and commended their struggle in implementing international airport that has international standards.
