Suicide bomber kills 10, wounds 30 in a restaurant attack in Somalia's Capital – Police

"10 people were killed and 30 others were wounded in the suicide attack at Luul Yemeni restaurant” Sadiiq Aadan Doodishe, Somali police spokesperson told local media on Friday night.
Most of the victims of the attack were said to be civilians eating food at the restaurant at the time of the attack, while others were by passers.
According to the officials, the magnitude of the attack also caused nearby building to collapse.
Somali militant group Al-Shabab, Al-Qaeda’s Somalia affiliate claimed responsibility for the attack.

The United Nations Assistance Mission to Somalia (UNSOM) strongly condemned the vicious Al-Shabaab attack on 5 March in Mogadishu and extended condolences and solidarity to the families of those who lost their lives and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured.
The attack targeted Luul Yemeni restaurant, a popular restaurant frequented by both civilians and government officials. It’s the second time this restaurant is targeted.

MOGADISHU, Somalia (Horn Observer) 10 people were confirmed dead and 30 others were wounded after a suicide bomber targeted a local restaurant in Mogadishu's Hamarweyne district on Friday evening, Somali police said.
