MOGADISHU (Horn Observer) The Nigerian Intelligence Agency chief Ahmed Abubakar Rufaaci arrived in Mogadishu for a two day official visit on the invitation of the Somali intelligence chief Fahad Yasin, officials

The two intelligence chiefs signed momerundum of understanding between the two country’s recpective agencies.

"Nigerian Intelligence Agency (NIA) chief arrived for a two day official visit to Mogadishu and signed a momemrundum of understanding with his Somalia counterpart Fahad Yasin” Somalia’s National security and Intelligence agency said on twitter post.

Somali Security and Intelligence Agency has been expanding its reach to other counterpart agencies in Africa. Last month, Angolan Intelligence chief Gen. José Luís Caetano Higino de Sousa arrived in Somalia’s capital for an official visit, where he met with Fahad Yasin, Somalia intelligence agency chief

Somalia and Nigeria have both suffered terrorism, whereas Nigeria fights Boko-Haram, which is affiliated to Alqaeda and Somalia government is fighting against ALShabab, an affiliate to ALqaeda and ISIS affiliated groups in Northeastern regions of Puntland.
