Mistrust has now emerged with Somali National Army as clan line divisions became wider due to the heated politicized military operations. Security sources confirmed to Horn Observer that two armored vehicles defected to the opposition as war broke out on Sunday.
The fighting pro-opposition army erupted at several junctions including Fagah, San’a and later spread to Mirinayo neighborhood on the seaside of the capital.
