Somalia: Airline operators said to suspend all local flights across various regions in Somalia

In a statement issued on Saturday, the association accused Civil Aviation Authority for failing to ensure the safety of aircraft and passengers at the airports.
Somali Airlines Operators Association has announced that all domestic flights will be suspended as of Sunday, citing a lack of security at some local airports. The indefinite suspension will last until a solution is found that ensures the plane's & passengers' safety, they said.

"We will suspend all flights to and from all regions of the country until the safety of the airports are resolved to ensure the safety our aircrafts” The Association said.
