Nairobi - Kenya (Horn Observer) Somalia's Supreme Court President Bashe Yusuf Ahmed is attending the 3rd Judiciary and Greening of Africa conference in Nairobi, Kenya, Somalia's National News Agency (SONNA) reported

The conference will discuss the role of the Judiciary in climate change, environmental laws, and greening Africa.

The conference will last for three days and was inaugurated by the President of Kenya, Dr. William Samoei Ruto.

It was attended by the Presidents and chairpersons of the High Courts and the general Judiciary of the countries of the African continent.

The various leaders who spoke at the conference spoke about the impact of climate change in Africa, which has caused prolonged drought conditions, lack of rain, air pollution and other problems.

It was also discussed there the promotion of education and awareness related to environmental protection laws and the creation of policies and strategies for the Judiciary to participate in the greening of Africa.
