Garowe, Somalia: According to a news statement from the Somali government, more than 20 Al Shabaab fighters, including three leaders, were killed in a joint operation by the National Army and international partners in Puntland's Calmadow mountains.
Also, the operation was aimed at a terrorist camp in the Calmadow highlands, and the authorities stated that the plot against the attacked group had been foiled.
On the other hand, the Somali government reported that the national army and foreign friends have been closely monitoring the Al Sahbaab enemy’s actions in Puntland’s hilly regions
