Military officials confirmed that the operation is still underway, with both ground and air forces working to eliminate the threat posed by the militant group.

The SNA forces have called on civilians to remain vigilant and cooperate with security forces as efforts continue to secure Middle Shabelle and prevent further militia attacks.
