Somalia forces supported by local clan militias have been battling the militant group in several regions including Middle Shabelle in attempt by the government to drive the militant out of Somalia.
The National Intelligence and Security Agency has confirmed the death of Yusuf Mohamed Jingab, a senior leader of #Alshabab terrorists, who was the head of radicalising office . The Shabab commander identified as Yusuf Mohamed Jingab was the head of the radicalization office, Ministr of information statement said.
Separately, the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) on Saturday said that in a statement that 87terrorist members were killed during a joint operation with international partners on December 15, 2022.
