Somalia: At least 7 killed, 37 wounded in car explosions in separate attacks in two towns in central Somalia - Official

On Saturday a car loaded with explosives targeted a market place in the town of Buulo Burte in Hiiraan region, killing at least 6 and wounding 30 others, according to Lawmaker Mohamed Ibrahim Moalimuu, who wrote on his facebook page. Lawmaker Moalimuu added that the second attack took placein the town of Jalalaqsi was carried out with car bombs, although he said was foiled, the attack killed 1 civilian and wounded 7 others.
No group claimed the responsiblity for the attack, however, Somali militant group Al-Shabab, used to take the credit for such attacks.The attack coincided as the Somalia government on Saturday announced that it has closed down 250 bank account and 70 mobile money account belong to Al-Shabab.
Minister of Finance, Dr. Elmi Mohamud Nur said that the government successfully blocked the finnancial flow and money laundering channels used by terrorists. Somalia government vowed to drive Al-Shabab and other terror groups out of Somalia.

Mogadishu, Somalia (Horn Observer) At least 7 people were killed and 37 others were wounded after cars filled with explosions carried out on Saturday two separate attacks in two towns in Hiiraan region, officials said.
