MOGADISHU (Horn Observer) Prominent peace and social activist Abdirahman Yusuf Ali has called the warring groups in Laas-Caanood to resolve their differences through dialogue and stop the bloodshed, amid the human and property casualties dramatically increased. ‘There is no need to massacre the innocent people in Laascaanood while conflicting issues could be solved through accord and unity’ Abdirahman Yusuf Ali, who is peace and social activist said ‘It is unfortunate and became widespread to disregard for our Islam practices of staying together in cohesive peacefulness and as well disregard to human rights violations among us and particularly the manmade tragic that is going on in Laascaanood’


 
 
He called for the Somalia’s international to hold Somaliland and Somalia accountable for the disharmony that led to massive killings and extremely effecting vulnerable children, mothers, elders and youth.

‘The people of laascaanood has the right to have protection of their lives and livelihoods’ he said

Peace and Social activist stressed that What is happening in Laascaanood is unacceptable human rights violation and urged parties involved in the bloodshed to reinstate amicable situation –  urged Somaliland, Somalia, and International community not to neglect ongoing civilian killings in Laascanood

Mr.Ali, Social and peace activist strongly urged "Please STOP massacring in Laascaanood” to prevent worsening situation in Laascaanood

Similat calls were earlier made by Somalia's international partners In a joint statement,

The international partners called for an immediate de-escalation of violence, the protection of civilians, unimpeded humanitarian access and for tensions to be resolved peacefully through dialogue.
