Mogadishu, Somalia (Horn Observer) Somalia's president Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud on Sunday called on the parties involved in Sudanese conflict to halt the confrontations and address the disagreement through dialogue and mutual understanding during a meeting with IGAD Summit of Heads of State & Gov't on their 40th Extra-Ordinary emergency session on the situation of Sudan.

"Our painful experience in Somalia is that conflicts are easy to start but proving very difficult to do end” Somalia President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud told IGAD heads of states in an extra ordinary meeting on Sunday, "I would like to request our Sudanese brothers to think twice  and the IGAD heads of states to urgently intervene the situation with all the means and the possibilities that are under our power”

"The victims of the conflict in the Republic of Sudan will extend beyond the Sudanese people as the sustainable development of our region will be impacted” President Mohamud added.

President Mohamud urged Parties in Sudan to swiftly silence of the guns and come to  the negotiation table to iron out their difference.

Disagreement between Abdel-Fattah Burhan and RSF leader General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo over the integration of the RSF into the armed forces turned into violent conflict.

At least 56 people have been killed as Sudan's armed forces battled the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) for control of the country as the fighting spreads other cities across the country.
