The agreements agreement will enables Office of the Auditor General Federal Republic of Somaliato implement key strategic priorities, according to a statement published on SAI Somalia’s twitter handler.

"I was pleased to sign a Cooperation Agreement between Office of the Auditor General Federal Republic of Somalia and Association of African Auditing Organizations (AFROSAI-E) and INTOSAI Development Initiativein Accra, Ghana” Ahmed Isse Gutale, Somalia’s Auditor General said, "This is a continuation of our dynamic partnership over the past, which is instrumental to our efforts to implement our strategic outputs in the next five years.”

The Auditor general has been in Accra, Ghana to attend four day meeting organized by Association of African Auditing Organizations (AFROSAI-E)to analyze important issues such as the establishment of an accounting system that will facilitate the realization of the expectations of the community, annual planning and risk assessment and follow-up of the recommendations issued in the inspection reports of the Audit General Institutions.

The conference which was hosted this year by the Auditor General of Ghana is attended by the Auditor Generals of 26 countries who are members of the African Association of Auditor Generals who speak English language and other development and international organizations.
