    Somalia President in Doha, Qatar for a 2-day official visit

    Doha (Horn Observer) Somalia President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud travelled to Doha Qatar on Tuesday for a 2 day official visit, state media reports

Doha (Horn Observer) Somalia President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud travelled to Doha Qatar on Tuesday for a 2 day official visit, state media reports

The visit follows after an official invitation by the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani  who greeted him at the airport upon arrival.



The two leaders will discuss cooperation in areas such as investment, economy, and education.

According to Somali National News Agency (SONNA), the visit aims to further develop cooperation between Somalia and Qatar, and to complete the implementation of existing agreements.
