MOGADISHU, (Horn Observer) At least four civilians, among a mother and a child have been killed on Thursday after a car loaded with explosives went off at Mogadishu's Taleeh neighborhood, witnesses said.
Witnesses said that a car fitted in with explosive devices exploded killing at least four, among them a mother and child who were traveling with a rickshaw and injuring several others.
Soon after the explosion, security forces sealed the area for investigation and the government is yet to comment on the casualties.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack, but previous similar attacks were claimed by Al-Shabab, Somalia’s Alqaeda affiliate who are fighting against the Somalia’s internationally backed government.

According to security sources, explosion also damaged a civilian car with casualties reported. Sources told Horn Observer that the explosion targeted at Somali security forces, but no casualties have been reported either.
Soon after the explosion, security forces sealed the area for investigation and the government is yet to comment on the casualties.
