    Somalia: CAF and SFF conclude two refreshment courses for coaches in Mogadishu

    Mogadishu, Somalia (Horn Observer) Somali Football Federation with the help from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) successfully concluded two refreshment courses for coaches who previously held CAF B and C licenses.

Mogadishu, Somalia (Horn Observer) Somali Football Federation with the help from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) successfully concluded two refreshment courses for coaches who previously held CAF B and C licenses.


According to Somali Football Federation, On Friday the SFF concluded CAF license C coaching course which gathered 19 coaches, who previously had their license C. The course took place between 3-5 November. Prior to this, another CAF license B refreshment course trained a total of 30 coaches.

The courses were part of a Marathon FIFA and CAF level courses that have been taking place in Somalia for the past four weeks and were all conducted by FIFA instructor Ulric Mathiot (Seashells) as cited by Somali Football Federation

During his 4-week stay in Somalia, FIFA instructor, Ulric Mathiot, trained a total of 109 coaches who benefitted from FIFA youth coaching course [30 coaches], FIFA grassroots coaching course [30 coaches], CAF license B coaching course [30 coaches] and CAF license C coaching course which gathered 19 coaches.

On Friday evening Somali Football Federation organized a farewell dinner for the FIFA instructor, Ulric Mathiot who is due to leave the country on Saturday.
