Somali Youth Day: President Mohamoud calls on youth to combat terrorism

80 years from its establishment, Somali Youth League have been freedom fighters who played a crucial role in the liberation of the Somali people as the country struggles in fighting terrorism.
"If the youths of SYL succeeded in making the Somali people resist colonialism and become leaders in the liberation movements of African countries, today our Somali youths are faced with a difficult challenge to liberate their country from evildoers who have massacred our people and denied life and government to our country,” President Mohamoud said.
Somalia currently struggles in fighting terrorism with no end insight, although the Somali army liberated large swaths of terrorizes in Central and Southern Somalia.

Mogadishu (Horn Observer) On the commemoration of the Somali Youth League (SYL), Somalia president Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud on Monday called on the Somali youth to combat terrorism as laid flowers at the SYL monument.
