    Mogadishu, Somalia (Horn Observer) Two men were killed after a bomb they were assembling exploded, Somali police said.

A landmine explosion that was heard loudly took place last night in the area of ​​Eelasha Biyaha on the outskirts of Mogadishu
Mogadishu, Somalia (Horn Observer) Two men were killed after a bomb they were assembling exploded, Somali police said.

Residents  said that security forces arrived at the scene to find two men seriously injured in the blast, before they died for their wounds.

 

Following a police investigation, police confirmed the deceased individuals were responsible for the explosion.

 

However, their identities remain unknown and no official statement has been issued by the police regarding the incident.

 

No group has claimed responsibility for the bomb explosion.

 

This is not the first incident of its kind. In the past individuals suspected of preparing explosives in residential areas have met similar fates.

 

Community members Rave widely condemned such actions, describing them as dangerous and attributing the tragic outcomes to divine retributions.
