NAIROBI (HORN OBSERVER) - Kenya has announced it will be selling two Somali Airforce aircraft which had been lying in Nairobi unclaimed for many years.

The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority said in a statement the aircraft, which are part of several others will be auctioned on November 17.

The aircraft to be auctioned off include two aircraft belonging to the Somali Air Force, registered with 3C-ZZA and 8204, both AN24 aircraft, located between Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), and two Russian aircraft.

There was no one to either repair or pick them up from the Kenyan authorities. As stated, the required cost is also for KShs. 73,000 ($ 730), including two Jubba Airways EY-534 and 5Y-BXZ aircraft, for $ 4,006 each.
