Ambassador Souef Mohamed El-Amine is the Special Representative of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (SRCC) for Somalia and Head of the African Union mission in Somalia. He previously served as the former Foreign Minister of Comoros, ambassador to Egypt, and Permanent Representative to the Arab League.
